Football Spirit Bus

The sports boosters are sponsoring a football spirit bus to the play-off game against Montague on Saturday, November 7 leaving at 9:45 a.m. The bus is a charter bus from Mitchell Motor Coach. The cost is $15 which includes your ticket to get into the game. Seats are available on a first come first serve basis at the High School Office. Please see Peggy Skinner or call 687-3302. Interested bidders should deliver their offers, in writing, indicating which item(s) they are bidding on, in a sealed envelope, clearly marked “SURPLUS BID”, on the outside of the envelope. The bids must be delivered to the Administration Office of the Meridian Public Schools, at the above address, NO LATER THAN 2:00 p.m., NOVEMBER 12, 2009. The items may be seen either at our Transportation Department, 3415 North M-30, Sanford or by contacting Mr. Robert Marks at (989) 687 3230 for an appointment.

Please note Minimum Bid Prices. The Meridian Public Board of Education reserves the right to accept or reject any bid.

Terms and Conditions of Sale:

1. All sales are “as is, where found”, with no warranty implied.

2. Before delivery can be concluded, the “Meridian Public Schools” name must be painted under, and on the busses, the flashing red lights must be disconnected from operation. This will be done by our Transportation Department mechanic.

3. Acceptable methods of payment are:

Personal/Corporate Check*

4. Items must be removed from Meridian Public School premises within 10 (ten) days of the completion of sale. Removal of items is to be coordinated with Robert Marks (989) 687-3230.

* In the event payment is made by personal/corporate check, vehicles may not be removed until the check has cleared the bank.

The high school parent-teacher conference dates have been changed. If you have a high school student, you will be receiving a letter with a new conference schedule for October 28th and 29th. This is a pilot program for this year to have conferences closer to the end of the first marking period. All Students will still have a full day of school on October 28th and 29th. If you have any questions, please contact the high school at 687-3300.
